“Chapter by Chapter”Every night at 7:30 sharp, the Thompsons gathered on the couch. It was sacred time: Pajamas on, lights low, and one magical book open between them. Dad did all the voices—his dragon was legendary. Mom gasped at every twist, even when she’d peeked ahead. Lily, the youngest, always clutched her stuffed rabbit like it was hanging on every word, too. Some nights they laughed until their bellies hurt. Other times, tears rolled silently as characters they loved said goodbye. But no matter what the story held, they held each other. By the time the last page turned, the house was filled with more than imagination. | ![]() Chapter by Chapter It was filled with connection—built not on screens or noise, but on the simple act of sharing words. Books came and went. But the memories? Those were bound forever. What “Words” have you shared to feel & give love and gratitude? Share it in the SKOOL Club |

Don’t let a surprise vet bill torpedo your budget
Routine vet checkups are rising, and some surgeries can cost as much as a holiday in Europe. Fortunately, pet insurance can help offset these unexpected costs. With some policies starting at $10 and reimbursing up to 90%, you can keep your pet healthy without sacrificing your savings.
And now, here are 2 Super Ideas, 4 Super Quotes, and 7 Super Questions to ponder this week…

Oh no, here comes the pain again...(continued from Issue #32)
My water broke!
But I am only 37 weeks of pregnancy.
I just had my baby shower a few days ago.
I haven’t even packed my suitcase to go to the hospital for me or the new baby!
We haven’t even opened the box with the new car seat in it yet.
Maybe this is why I needed to keep my stress levels down.
What number am I up to now?...
Keep stress levels low because I am pregnant but…
First, I had the morning sickness which was stressful.
Second, there was all the talk of the world coming to an end due to Y2K.
Third, I was bleeding vaginally.
Fourth, MS made me a paraplegic.
Fifth, my heart rate went above 200 beats per minute.
Sixth, my husband had to be called back to the hospital because the doctors wanted to STOP MY HEART!!!!!
Seventh, my baby could die so we could save my life!
Eighth, why am I still in the hospital?
Ninth, complications for the baby just to do a test?
Tenth, waiting for the results from that radioactive isotope test!
Eleventh, what’s in the bag?
Twelfth, Oranges and needles?
Thirteenth, Do I have diabetes too?
Fourteenth, MS confirmed?
Fifteen, MS confirmed!!! How?
Sixteen, Call Mom to help?
Seventeen, How’s the baby doing?
Eighteen, What’s this pain I keep feeling?
Nineteen, Was I kicked by a horse?
Twenty, What’s next?
Twenty-One, Can I get an epidural?
Twenty-Two, What is this pain?
Twenty-Three, What does labor feel like?
Twenty-Four, Why am I wet?
Twenty-Five, Go to the hospital, really?
Twenty-Six, Are we gonna make it?
Yes, we stopped for gas.
We stopped for gas after we hung up the phone with the OB/GYN and secured the dogs at our home.
I was supposed to go with my mom for another ultrasound the next day.
We hadn’t finished our Lamaze classes.
This is not how I envisioned labor and delivery was going to go, but here we go because baby had other plans, I guess.
As I sat in the new-to-us vehicle while my husband got gas, I felt another one of those pains shoot up my spine.
I screamed in pain, “We have to go now!!!”
Hubby jumped back in the vehicle and off we went to the hospital.
As we approached the Emergency Room entrance, an individual came out with a wheelchair.
“I will not sit in that chair. I prefer to walk to the room.” I stated as the hospital personnel agreed to walk alongside me.
My OB/GYN had called the hospital to let them know I was on my way and she would be there shortly.
The good news is the baby was NOT born in the new-to-us vehicle, but what happens next?
Back to that in the next newsletter…
